The AI Club team which participated at the 24-hour Big Data Hackathon organized by Venturesity at Microsoft Research office in Bangalore on 1st Feb got the second prize. The team worked on the Million Song Dataset to create a song recommender and a year predictor.They developed their solution using technologies like Python, R and MongoDB.
We won the 1st Runner Up Startup Idea in the event Startup Connect. Startup Connect was a competition based on pitching business ideas.
